The incident which occurred around 5:00pm on Wednesday had left many residents in state of panic. As captured in a video made available to NPO Report, thick black smoke could be seen emanating from the fuel station. It was gathered that a fuel tanker was discharging product for the station, said to be Optima Fuel station, when the tanker exploded.
