The presentation which was initially slated for yesterday was postponed by the President to Wednesday. Safiu Kehinde Lagos State Environmental Taskforce has on Tuesday evening nabbed 15 minors and 12 other traffic beggars following a raid along Lekki- Ikoyi axis. This was disclosed in a post on X by the state’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab. As seen in a video attached to the post, the taskforce officials rounded up the unsuspecting beggars along Awolowo Way up to Falomo round about. The NBS revealed this in its Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey (CESPS) 2024 released in Abuja on Tuesday.
