Seven foreigners in Fiji were sent to hospital for suspected poisoning after drinking pina coladas at a five-star resort’s bar, local authorities said. In the lawsuit filed by the 2019 presidential candidate of the Hope Democratic Party, Ambrose Owuru, had challenged the qualification of Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election held last year. Safiu Kehinde Nigeria has again recorded rise in inflation by 34.60% in November as against 33.88% recorded in October. This was contained in a report released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics on Monday. According to the report, the inflation rate increased by 2.64% as compared to October 2024. On year-on-year basis, food inflation rose by 39.93% as against 32.84% recorded in November in 2023 while an increase of 2.98% was recorded on month-on-month basis in contrast to 2.94% recorded in October.
