NPO reported that the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly had, on Wednesday, summoned the RSIEC Chairman over the conduct of the October 5, 2024 local government election. Safiu Kehinde A Lagos Special Offences Court has granted N50 million bail to Jude Okoye, former manager of the defunct music duo Paul and Peter Okoye (P-Square), in an ongoing trial over alleged money laundering to the tune of N1.38billion, $1million and £34,537.59. NPO reported that the elder brother to the estranged P-Square music duo was arraigned alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Safiu Kehinde Veteran Nigerian Public Relations expert, Malam Kabir Dangogo, has passed away at the age of 76. Dangogo reportedly died on Thursday night after long battle with protracted illness. His remains will be buried in Kaduna later in the afternoon after the funeral prayers at Sultan Bello Mosque. According to report, Dangog, born on February 21, 1949, earned different academic degrees from Ohio University, Athens, United States in 1981, and University of Leicester, United Kingdom (UK) in 1987. NPO Reports gathered that Okupe died in the early hours of Friday at an hospital in Abuja. One of Okupe’s last public outings was when he visited President Bola Tinubu. NPO Reports that the medical doctor turned politician had been sick for some time. The former presidential aide was diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.
