Three Chinese nationals have been arrested with 12 gold bars and $800,000 (£650,000) in cash in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, officials say. Safiu Kehinde Imo State Police Command on Saturday said it had smashed a kidnapping and armed robbery syndicate at Umuokanne in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state.
