Safiu Kehinde Oyo state ministry of health has shut down two hospitals in Saki West local government area of the state following suspected Lassa fever outbreak. The deaths was confirmed by Oyo State Rapid Response Team (RRT) from the ministry of health which visited the affected area in Saki following distress calls from residents on what they call mysterious deaths. According to reports, the fatalities consisted of three males and one 32-year-old female who was preparing for her marriage. Okpebholo gave the directive in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, on Thursday in Benin.
