Musa Adamu was in detention for converting from Islam to Christianity and preaching the gospel, as being circulated in the social media. China has removed Qin Gang as foreign minister less than seven months after he was appointed to the post. Mr Qin had been seen as a close associate of President Xi Jinping. By Halimah Olamide Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun has appointed 30 special advisers. The governor disclosed this in a statement issued in Osogbo on Tuesday by his Spokesperson, Malam Olawale Rasheed. Rasheed stated that the governor secured approval from the House of Assembly for five more advisers in addition to the previously approved 25 making it 30. Kamil Opeyemi Operatives of the Department of State Security have arrested the head of the Correctional Services Ikoyi at the premises of the Federal High Court Lagos on Tuesday. Tension had started after Justice Nicholas had granted Emefiele a N20m bail. While officials of the correctional services said Emefiele should be in their custody pending the conclusion of bail terms, officials of the DSS said he would be under their control.
