A total of over 1.5 million tickets have been sold at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the world football governing body FIFA announced on Monday. Ticket number 1,500,000 was purchased by Maria Strong, who organised a family outing to the Group G fixture between Italy and Argentina at Auckland’s Eden Park. The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), has vowed to prosecute members of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria (AMMBAN) over collaborative service price fixing. Mr Babatunde Irukera, the Executive Vice Chairman of FCCPC in a statement, was reacting to what appeared to be an adamancy and insistence on a membership-wide implementation of price fixing by AMMBAN. Russia has accused Ukraine of being behind a drone attack that damaged at least two buildings in the capital Moscow early on Monday morning. The Russian defence ministry said two drones were “suppressed and crashed”, adding that there were no casualties.
