Trial of Mamman Ali, son of a former PDP National Chairman, Ahmadu Ali, charged with N2.2 billion subsidy fraud, was on Friday stalled due to absence of a prosecution witness. Ali is standing trial alongside one Christian Taylor and Nasaman Oil Services Ltd. on a 49-count charge bordering on conspiracy to obtain money by false pretences, obtaining money by false pretences, forgery and use of false document. Airline passengers travelling from Kano to Abuja on Air Peace Airline (P47425) have been left stranded as the airline rescheduled its flight time from 4.50 p.m. on Friday Feb. 2 to 1 a.m. Feb. 3.
