The Peoples Democratic Party has joined several calls by Nigerians to end the current impasse between university teachers and the government. At least four persons have been confirmed dead by the Federal Road Safety Corps on Sunday in accident that occurred on the Third Mainland Bridge. Other people were said to have been injured and taken to hospitals for medical attention. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said its operatives have intercepted travellers’ cheques in various foreign currencies of over N1.1billion at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has seized a total of 47 cartons of suspected fake Tramadol, comprising 2.3 million tablets, weighing 1222kg in Zaria, Kaduna state.
