The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna Sector Command, on Friday, decorated 50 newly promoted officers with their new ranks. Addressing the officers in Kaduna, the FRSC Sector Commander, Mr. Hafiz Mohammed, urged the newly promoted to do more, adding that much is expected from them. Three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Becker has been jailed for two-and-a-half years for hiding 2.5 million pounds (3.14 million dollars) worth of assets and loans to avoid paying his debts. The 54-year-old former world number one was declared bankrupt on June 21 in 2017. Seven persons died while five others sustained injuries on Friday in an accident involving a Mazda bus and a truck at Ogunmakin on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. FRSC’s Sector Commander in Ogun, Mr Ahmed Umar, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
