Mr Ocheme Oba, General Secretary, NUATE, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday in Lagos. NUATE had, in a circular issued on Aug. 15, said aviation security workers would embark on an indefinite nationwide strike over poor wages. Mr Kabir Tsakuwa, FCT Commandant of the agency disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. Tsakuwa said that the illicit drugs seized included suspected cannabis sativa, cocaine, Methamphetamine, Heroin, Tramadol, Rohypnol, Diazepam, Ecstasy, and Megadon.
