Tragedy appears to have hit Nigeria again on Tuesday as a plane belonging to the Nigerian Air Forde reportedly crashed in Kaduna. Though, no official statement has been made available to confirm the number of Airmen in the ill-fated aircraft, it was learnt that an unknown number of officers may have died. A military aircraft with the former Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 others, on board crashed killing all the officers onboard including the Army Chief. More to follow…
The Federal Government has renamed the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos State, which is under renovation, to Lagos Creative and Entertainment Center, upon completion. This was disclosed on Tuesday by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in Madrid, Spain while signing an agreement on Nigeria’s hosting of first Global Conference on Cultural Tourism and Creative Industry. Google on Tuesday announced its first Product Development Centre in Africa to help create transformative products and services for people in Africa and around the world.
