The Anambra Police Command has called on residents of the state to ensure prompt report of robbery incidents for quick response by the command. The command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, made the call in a statement issued in Awka on Monday. A suspected kidnapper on Monday escaped death after he was apprehended by a mob at Idi-Ori area of Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State. It was learnt that the suspect was walking around the area when he was reportedly recognised by one of his victims.
