A chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Abuja has reportedly been killed. It was learnt that the Chairman of Gwagwalada chapter of the association was killed on Thursday. Secretary of the association, Mohammed Usman, who confirmed the development, said the man, identified as Adamu Aliu, was killed along other four other persons in a village under the Local Government Area. The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit demolished two illegal mechanic villages on Saturday. Its chairman, CSP Shola Jejeloye, confirmed the demolition on Sunday in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mr Abdulraheem Gbadeyan. An orphanage in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Honour Ground Home, has decried the action of some Nigerians who donate expired food items and other products to the orphanage.
