The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the killing of some citizens in six villages of Giwa Local Government Area of the state. The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, however said in a statement on Friday in Kaduna that detailed security report was still being awaited. “Some citizens have been killed by bandits in six villages of Giwa LGA,” he said. A Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court sitting at Oshodi has sentenced a socialite, Ms Chidinma Ogbulu, to two years in prison for distributing petrol as a souvenir during a party. Chief Magistrate Kehinde Ogundare convicted and sentenced the socialite following her guilty plea on Thursday, and evidence by the prosecution.
