A son of the Nigerian Minister of Communication and Digital Economy Ibrahim Isa Ali Pantami was on Friday kidnapped. However, less than three hours after, he was found at a checkpoint in Bauchi. Al-Amin was said to have been kidnapped where he lives with his grandmother. It was not clear if any ransoms was paid before his kidnappers dropped him at a checkpoint. The Lagos Command of the Nigerian Police on Friday said it has arrested one of its personnel over wrong arrest. The personnel, who was caught on video after he arrested a motorist over allegation that he had no permit for his tainted car, was identified by the command as Inspector Dele Rueben.
