The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control on Saturday announced that it saw its lowest cases of infections from the coronavirus in recent time. In its latest chart, NCDC said it recorded only 8 cases from the Federal Capital Territory and two other states. The chart showed that the FCT recorded 4 while Rivers State reported 3 while Kaduna recorded only 1. The chart showed that 253,978 cases are confirmed while a total of 230,323 of cases have been discharged. So far, a total of 3,141 deaths have been recorded.

Barely two days after some security officers were killed in Enugu State, another team of four policemen on stop-and-search duty at the outskirts of Enugu metropolis have been shot dead by armed men.
