The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Sunday announced that his vice presidential placeholder Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari has withdrawn from the race. Tinubu made the announcement in Daura where he also informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his choice of a replacement in the person of former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shetima. The negotiator with kidnappers of the Kaduna train attacks victims, Mamu Tukur, has alleged that enough information was provided to the relevant security agencies about last Tuesday attacks on the Kuje Medium Correctional Centre. At least, two persons are still missing after three persons were rescued on Saturday after their vehicles were swept away by flood in the Agege area of Lagos. The incident happened on Oyatoki street area of the outskirts of Lagos. Residents claimed to have warned those in a white Lexus jeep not to pass through the area but they were adamant.
