Two persons have been reported dead on Wednesday when a bus rammed into a truck along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident, saying its KM27 Ogunmakin unit Command carried out the rescue operation around 4:30 AM today. The FRSC spokesperson in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, said the accident involved an Iveco trailer marked, DUK517XA, and a Volkswagen bus, registered as MUS05YF. An Akwa Ibom State High Court on Wednesday remanded a lawyer Mr. Inibehe Effiong in jail for one month over alleged contemptuous and insulting behaviour in court. The Police Command in Oyo State has apprehended a 23-year-old mother for allegedly absconding with another woman’s 3-day-old baby. The command’s Spokesman, SP Adewale Osifeso, made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday.
