A High Court sitting in Abuja has convicted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, of contempt of court. The conviction was in relation to the failure of the anti-graft agency to comply with a November 21, 2018 court order directing it to return a Range Rover and the sum of N40 million to the applicant in a suit. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, on Saturday denied ever making any request in its 2023 budget submitted to buy sniffer dogs. The agency said insinuations in some quarters to that effect are false. Singer and rapper Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34. He was the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter. The National Population Commission (NPC) in Kogi, has opened its portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2023 National Census.
