Some supporters of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Bola Tinubu were injured in Ibadan the Oyo State capital on Tuesday during a rally organised to shore up support for the APC candidate. Twitter shares have been suspended following a report that Elon Musk will proceed with a takeover of the social media platform. Mr Musk is set to buy Twitter at the original price he offered months ago before he walked away from a deal, according to Bloomberg News. Operatives of Lagos State Police Command have rescued four suspected Shoplifters from being lynched by angry people in the area of Surulere, Lagos State. The suspects, Babatunde Ogunsemi, 48, Olatunde Ayinde, 50, Oludare Olusegun 49 and Sunday Ebifega, 41 were rescued by the men of police attached to Surulere Division upon receiving a distress call from members of the community. A Federal High Court in Umuahia, Abia, is to deliver judgment in the extraordinary rendition suit filed by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Kanu, had filed the suit before the court in March.
