A principal officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),Duruocha Osita Joel has been found dead along a road in Anambra. This was disclosed by the Commission’s national commissioner and chairman, information and voter education committee, Festus Okoye,in a statement released on Friday said Duruocha was reported missing in Anambra on Wednesday. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned political parties against receiving funds from anyone as anonymous for the 2023 elections. Festus Okoye, INEC commissioner on voters education said this on Friday during an interview with Channels Television. Asked how INEC will monitor crowdfunding for campaign organisations, Okoye said political parties are not to spend funds from anonymous sources. “The law is very clear.
