The Benue State Government’s House has on Wednesday been adorned by President Bola Tinubu’s banners as the state governor, Alia Hyacinth, and prominent traditional rulers of the state prepare to host the President in Makurdi.
NPO earlier Reported Tinubu’s arrival at the state’s capital for his scheduled condolence visit to the victims of the suspected armed herdsmen’s attack over the weekend.
The President is in the state to condole with families of the victims massacred by suspected herders.
No fewer than 200 persons were killed in the incident.

However, a video posted by The PUNCH shows that the banquet hall was already decorated ahead of the President’s arrival with small boards baring the President’s photos placed on the wall of the hall as decorations.
The hall also shows lots of banquet items such as flowers and well decorated chairs and tables.
The President had at a project commissioning event on Monday commiserated with the affected communities at Yelewata town where over 200 people were killed in the unprovoked attack by the assailants.
He thereafter announced his planned condolence visit to the state.
However, the state government’s government’ activities in preparation for the President’s visit had sparked public reactions with netizens accusing the government of politicizing the visitation.
