The Boko Haram insurgents have released a video showing over 300 villagers abducted during an attack on the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Ngoshe, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.
NPO Reported that the insurgents had on Thursday attacked the camp with about nine soldiers killed.
The incident had sparked public outrage with calls for the rescue of the kidnapped victims.
Video release by the Boko Haram terrorists had again revived the call.
The insurgents, as seen in the video, marched past the captives who were lined up in the sun.
Subsequent clip showed a cleric from the Boko Haram camp leading the kidnapped villagers in prayer as the heavily armed insurgents stood watch.
