Popular actress Mercy Aigbe escaped death on Saturday as she made a return trip back to Lagos from Benin, the Edo state capital.
Aigbe said she had travelled to Benin to have a meet and greet session with fans over her latest movie titled, Ada Omo Daddy.
The actress said her vehicle a black Jeep was on top speed when one of the tyres burst creating a serious impact on the vehicle.
The actress shared a video of the accident scene on her verified Instagram page on Saturday.
“Alhamdulilah “ Aigbe who recently converted to Islam wrote on her Instagram after the accident saying, “To God be the glory.
“The scariest day of my life . My car Tyre bursted while we were on top speed on our back to Lagos from Benin where I went for meet and greet for my movie .
“God, I have never been this scared . An horric experience . Panic. Screams, Prayers . It is such a terrible experience.”
