The United States of America on Sunday warned of an impending attacks by terrorists in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
In a security alert release on its website on Sunday, the Mission said there is intelligence that indicates what it called elevated risks of attacks at the Federal Capital Territory.
The statement read “There is an elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specifically in Abuja. Targets may include but are not limited to, government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, hotels, bars, restaurants, athletic gatherings, transport terminals, law enforcement facilities, and international organizations.
The statement read thus:
“The U.S. Embassy will offer reduced services until further notice. Actions to Take: Avoid all non-essential travel or movement. Stay alert. Avoid crowds.

“Review your security plans and keep your cell phone charged in case of emergency. Carry proper identification.”
Terrorists had made incursions into weeks ago killing men of the Brigade of Guards the elite armed department guarding the President.
Earlier, Terrorists has struck at the Kuje Medium Correctional centre killing and freeing over 60 of its members.
They also freed about 800 inmates.
