It was however silent on whether a full scale strike will start. Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige had indicated last week that negotiations would resume with the striking lecturers.
The union had however on Saturday indicated the possibility of resumption of works if there is an agreement between the government team and the teachers. The Union had posted on Saturday, “Agrees To Resume Talks With FG Next Week; Strike Might Be Called Off If Agreement is Made.”
