Breaking! ASUU Says Warning Strike Ends Monday

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU on Sunday notified Nigerian students and parents that the warning ongoing strike will end tomorrow (Monday. This is just as negotiation resumes with the Federal Government over the lingering crisis. The union gave this indication via its twitter handle,
It was however silent on whether a full scale strike will start. Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige had indicated last week that negotiations would resume with the striking lecturers.
The union had however on Saturday indicated the possibility of resumption of works if there is an agreement between the government team and the teachers. The Union had posted on Saturday, “Agrees To Resume Talks With FG Next Week; Strike Might Be Called Off If Agreement is Made.”
