Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, Housemate, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon, has emerged as the winner of the Lockdown edition.
Laycon garnered 60% of the votes leaving Dorathy, who emerged as the runner up, with 21.85%.
Nengi, the second runner up, secured 15.03% of the votes.
Laycon came into the house with so many expectations, and carted away with the winner’s prize worth 85 million Naira.
During his last ever conversation with Big Brother, Laycon said that if he had to sum up his experience in a few words they would be: life-changing, unexplainable, and wonderful. On the whole, he feels that Big Brother facilitated a lot of growth for him mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually and that he would forever be grateful for that.
He had also noted that if he was announced as the winner he would invest a lot of his money, but his main focus would be on his music career.
Laycon, after making his final exit out of the BBNaija Lockdown House, told the host, Ebuka, on stage that he just came to promote his Extended Play, EP, titled "Who Is Laycon?"
Laycon also looked back at the incident with Erica and said he learnt a lot from it. According to him, he had never been in that situation before.
The breakdown of what Laycon won includes: a N30m cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost; a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
The grand prize makes the season’s winnings the biggest since its debut back in 2006.
