Nigerian billionaire businessman and Chairman of the Ibru Organisation, Olorogun Oscar Ibru, has died at the age of 67.
The industrialist reportedly passed away after a brief illness.
The cause of his death is currently as no official statement confirming his demise has been released by the family.
According to reports, Ibru, central figure in Nigeria’s corporate landscape, was the most prominent heirs of the Ibru dynasty.
He played a pivotal role in sustaining and expanding the vast family conglomerate established by his late father, Olorogun Michael Ibru.
The family’s business which includes the The Guardian Newspaper stable also spanned into shipping, oil and gas, real estate, and commerce.
