The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps on Friday unveiled a new uniform.
The organization, according to the minister Rauf Aregbesola, is not changing its uniforms but adding a new set that will only be worn on Tuesdays.
Aregbesola in his verified twitter handle, wrote, “The new uniform which is part of the ongoing reform of the Corps, will be worn on Tuesdays by personnel of the service.”
NSCDC boss, Abubakar Audi said at the unveiling that the uniform is in line with the vision of the minister to reposition the service.
He added that the uniform is in line with global best practice.
He said the additional uniform comprises of Navy blue trouser and white shirt.
It makes the corps unique and will boost the morale and commitment of officers and will bolster them to do more in their areas of endeavor.
He expressed gratitude to the minister for his support to the service.
