Operatives from the Departments of State Service (DSS) have reportedly raided office of the Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability Project in Abuja.
This was disclosed in a brief statement issued by the group on Monday.
The operatives, according to the statement, demanded to see the group’s Directors.
The statement read; “Officers from Nigeria’s State Security Service (SSS) are presently unlawfully occupying SERAP’s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors.
President Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation and attack on the rights of Nigerians.”
This is coming few hours after the arrest of the Nigeria Labour Congress President, Joe Ajaero, at Abuja airport.
