The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a aspirant and former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Okorocha currently represents Imo West senatorial district in the National Assembly.
He was arrested last week in a dramatic manner after operatives stormed his residence and whisker him away.
He was preparing to attend the screening exercise of the All Progressive Congress at the time of the arrival of the EFCC officials.
He was arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo on Monday in the nation’s capital.
Justice Ekwo adjourned till Tuesday for the hearing of the bail applications by Okorocha and Chinenye.
The five companies are: Naphtali International Limited, Perfect Finish Multi Projects Limited, Consolid Projects Consulting Limited, Pramif International Limited and Legend World Concepts Limited.
