Death has struck on Friday with the passing away of a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Yekini Adeojo.
Adeojo, a prominent politician from Oyo State and respected traditional leader reportedly died on Friday morning in Ibadan.
Chief Adeojo was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and held the prestigious title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also a notable chieftain in Ibadan.
Adeojo was one of the founding members of the PDP in Oyo State and the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
A businessman of note, he was the founder of Yahanaty Flour Mills located in Ibadan.
