Breaking! Peter Obi Carries Campaign to Controversial Cleric Sheikh Gumi

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi on Monday took his drive for support ahead of the 2023 presidential election to the residence of controversial cleric Sheikh Ahmed Gumi.
Gumi is that cleric who has been known to have the understanding of terrorists and has visited them in their camps in some parts of the Northern states.
Obi was at the residence of Gumi in company with his running mate Senator Ahmed Datti.
Confirming the visitation on his verified handle, Obi himself wrote. “Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed and I stopped by for a courtesy call on Sheikh Gumi at his official residence in Kaduna. -PO”
Gumi had been at the forefront of seeking for better deal with the terrorists just as he once condemned tagging them as terrorists.
His associate, Mamu Tukur was recently arrested in Cairo Egypt after several cases of negotiations between families of the victims abducted from the scene of the attacks on a Abuja- bond train in March this year.
Mamu has been accused of having questions to answer over his relationship with the terrorists.
