The House of Representatives has resolved to probed the technical error recorded by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) at the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
NPO Reported that the board had last week announced poor performance from the UTME candidates with majority scoring below 200 marks.
The result had led to public dismay over the conduct of the examination and the credibility of the results which most parents claimed to contradict the academic performance of their wards.
In the wake of the backlash, JAMB reviewed the results with its Registrar, Prof. Isiaq Oloyede, admitting to the technical errors yesterday.
Reacting to the development during the green chamber’s plenary session on Thursday, Adewale Adebayo, an Osun State lawmaker, raised the motion for the investigation of the technical error reported by JAMB.
The lawmakers passed the resolution for the investigation.
