President Bola Tinubu on Monday announced his first set of appointees hours after being sworn in.
The appointments were those of the State Chief of Protocol, Presidential Spokesman and the Special Assistant Digital Media .
While he named
Ambassador Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) to the President, Mr. Dele Alake was named Presidential Spokesman while
Olusegun Dada was named SA Digital Media.
Alake was former Commissioner for Information in Lagos state under Tinubu.
Adeleke Victor Adekunle Adeleke, is an Oyo-born career diplomat.
The newly appointed SCOP officially, began his assignment, today Monday, May 29, 2023.
An accomplished diplomat and lawyer, Ambassador Adeleke joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 1993 and rose through the ranks, serving in various missions abroad and at the Headquarters, including the State House. His appointment is adjudged as well-deserved by his colleagues as he takes over from Ambassador Lawal Kazuare.
