Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) rerun primary ahead of the March 11 governorship election in Taraba State.
Announcing the result at the end of the exercise,Chairman of the Electoral Committee,Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai(Retd) said that Bwacha scored 778 votes to emerge winner, while Sen. Yusuf Yusuf came second with five votes.
According to him,840 delegates were expected at the election, out of which 796 were accredited.
In his acceptance speech,Bwacha described the result as a confirmation that people of the state were truly yearning for good governance in the state.
