President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the joint session of National Assembly for the presentation of the 2026 budget.
Tinubu arrived at the legislative chamber on Friday afternoon where all the Senate and House of Representatives lawmakers had assembled for his arrival.
The lawmakers, as captured in a video shared on X, all stood as the President’s arrival was announced.
Tinubu proceeded to directly to greet Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and the House of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abass.
Prior to his appearance before the lawmakers, the President had presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting where a total of N58.47 trillion budget proposal for the 2026 fiscal year by the council.
