This follows weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him.
- Information at the disposal of the NPO Reports shows that President Bola Tinubu has on Wednesday suspended the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Mr. Rasheed Bawa.
NPO Reports gathered that the suspension which is indefinite, was issued over allegations of abuse of office leveled against the anti-corruption agency boss.
Bawa took over from Ibrahim Magu, who himself was eased out of office.
Magu was suspended on July 7, 2020, by the presidency following allegations of gross misconduct as levelled by Abubakar Malami, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.
