Popular Nigerian activist and Yoruba Nation separatist leader, Sunday Igboho, has jubilated over the death of former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The activist, whose advocacy for the independence for Yoruba nation pegged him at odd against the Buhari-led eight years administration, expressed his delight with the passing of the ex-President.
As captured in a now viral video posted across social media on Monday, Igboho could be heard thanking God for the death of Buhari as he recounted how his house was raided by operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) and some military personnel with alleged plot to assassinate him under the directive of the late former President.
He urged Nigerians to learn from the demise of the ex-President as he accused him of the assassination.
“I thank God for my life today. My people, Buhari don die. You see life. The Buhari criminal man that sent DSS and the military to come and kill me in the middle of the night in July 1st 2021, he died today.
“See life. My people, we suppose to learn about this. That criminal man, Muhammadu Buhari, he don die. I’m alive today.
“I thank God that I’m alive today. Criminal Fulani man with some stupid Yoruba people that ganged up and come to my house in the middle of the night and tried to take my life. But God say no. If God say yes, nobody can say no. See life, he don die today. God I thank you.” Igboho said.
NPO Reported the passing of Buhari on Sunday evening at the London hospital.
