The newly inaugurated National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Adamu Abdulahi, has taken over the baton of leadership from the chairman of the Caretaker Extra-ordinary Convention Committee, Governor Mai Mala-Buni.
At a brief ceremony at the national secretariat of the party on Wednesday, the new Chairman said members of the party were promised a new dawn.
“At the official handling over today, my predecessor, Gov Mai Mala Buni wished us a successful tenure.
“We promised our members once we come on board, our party the All Progressives Congress will experience new dawn because of Everyone Matters,” he stated this in a tweet after the brief ceremony.
Adamu alongside other National Working Committee emerged as the consensus candidates on Saturday at the Convention ground held at Eagles Square, Abuja.
They were sworn in on the following Sunday.
