Renowned Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, have lost one of their twin sons, Nkanu Nnamdi.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Thursday.
According to the post, the 21-month-old boy passed away on Wednesday following a brief illness.
The couple, reportedly known for keeping their family life private, have not disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding Nkanu’s passing.
However, the news had attracted condolences and well-wishes from netizens and fans of Adichie.
