The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has on Monday resumed its recruitment exercise for new intake.
NPO Reported the board’s temporary suspension of its online recruitment for job applicants into any of the paramilitary agencies.
The CDCFIB had cited plan to optimise the efficiency of the recruitment portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng as reason for the recruitment suspension.
It would however declare the resumption of the recruitment in a statement issued on Sunday.
The board apologized for the interruption as it urged applicants who have successfully initiated their applications to retrieve and complete their application.
The statement read; “Kindly be informed that applicants who have successfully initiated their applications are advised to retrieve their applications and complete their applications they have initiated.
“The system will reopen on Monday, July 21st, 2025.
“We sincerely apologize for the interruption in the application submission process. Due to the high volume of applications, it was necessary to enhance the system to ensure it can accommodate all applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless, transparent, and equitable recruitment process.”
The paramilitary agencies with vacancies are the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Federal Fire Service.
