Hassan Mairiga, a Land Resource Officer, has been queried by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) over exposure of alleged land fraud by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
This was disclosed in a post shared on Instagram by social media influencer and activist, Isaac Fayose.
According to Fayose, Mairiga was issued the query after spending right days in detention.
NPO Reported the circulation of leaked document containing FCTA’s alleged allocation of 2,000 hectares of land to Wike’s son, Joaquin.
The leaked document as sparked public outrage with demand for probe of the FCT Minister.
While it was ascertained if Hassan’s detention was in connection to the leaked document, the FCTA has in the query dated 4th of July accused the embattled staff of violating the public service rule.
As contained in the query issued by the Acting Director Administration, Uzo Udegbunam, the FCTA accused Hassan of unauthorized disclosure of official information, breach of the oath of secrecy, and conduct unbecoming of a public officer.

He was demanded to make a written representation within the the next 24 hours as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.
