There is an ongoing controversy over an alleged sudden relocation of the polling units meant for the Victoria Garden City in the Lekki area of Lagos .
The estate popularly called VGC has thousands of registered voters.
An actress Omoni Oboli had taken to her twitter account Saturday morning to broadcast the refusal of the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission to come into the estate to set up for accreditation and voting.
NPO Reports however learned that the commission took the decision to move the voting process out of the estate to what was considered a safer place owing to what happened three weeks ago during the presidential and National Assembly elections.
A resident of the estate told the NPO Reports that INEC officials had to be escorted out of the estate due to harassment by some members of the estate who are sympathetic to the Labour Party.
The estate is home to many celebrities many of whom are sympathetic to the Labour Party.
