The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the judgement delivery on suit seeking the sack of the factional leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) , David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Supporters of the faction were reported to have stormed the court on Monday for the judgment on the fresh suit seeking to restrain Mark Aregbesola from parading themselves as ADC Chairman and Secretary respectively.
The suit was filed by a House of Representatives member from Kogi State, Hon. Leke Abejide.
However, the factional ADC members were left dejected as Justice Musa Suleiman Liman, who is presiding over the case, postponed the judgement delivery till Tuesday due to other pressing official engagement.
The development was communicated by a Registrar of the Court, leaving supporters angry.
NPO Reported that ADC leadership had been facing litigation cases since the adoption of the party by the coalition of the opposition leaders.
While the Mark-led ADC had repeatedly accused the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress, the Abejide-backed faction led by Nafiu Bala had constatntly opposed Mark and other leaders in his faction.
The leadership would further force the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to de-recognise Mark’s leadership- a decision which had sonce brought the commission under fire with ots Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, in the middle of the outrage.
