COVID-19: NCDC Records 352 Fresh Cases Friday

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest COVID-19 update, on its official Facebook on Saturday morning, recorded 352 fresh cases across 16 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with no deaths recorded.

As of January 12, 2022, a total of 3,092 people have died from COVID-19 in Nigeria, while there are still over 25,000 active cases.

With the new infections, the NCDC noted that the infection toll now stands at 250,361, while 223,495 people have been successfully treated and discharged across the nation.

The breakdown has it that Rivers for the first time top the sheet of active record in a day with 119 cases, Lagos-106, Gombe-50, FCT-36, Delta-16, Kaduna-14, Oyo-5, Taraba-5, Kano-1.
