The latest brand from Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN), Peugeot 3008 GT, is set to hit Nigerian roads as its production commences at the Kaduna assembly.
DPAN, a local automobile company owned by Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote, commenced the assembly of the GT model of the Peugeot 3008, which has reportedly hit commercial success and won awards with its different variants in various markets across the world.
As contained in a statement issued by the company, the Peugeot 3008 GT, with its 1.6 litre high performance turbo engine, has expanded the existing line-up of vehicles from the assembly lines of the modern plant that opened some years ago in Kaduna.
Some other features of the vehicle include a Bluetooth telephony which help in avoiding the common ‘phoning-while-driving’ issue.
It also comes with auto headlights, fog lamps, daytime running lights, a sunroof that slides, and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels.
The car reportedly comes packed with impressive safety features, including at least eight airbags for full protection of everyone inside, lane departure warning, an electric child safety system, and both visual and audible rear parking assistance.
