Davido, Falz Sighted at Candlelight Procession for Mohbad

Two prominent entertainers David Adeleke popularly called Davido and Folarin Falana, also known as Falz have joined Thursday night’s candlelight in honour of late singer, Oladimeji Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly called Mohbad.
The management of Mohbad had announced days ago a procession would be held in his honour with participants taking off from Lekki Phase 1 to end at Muri Okunola Park where tributes would be rendered.
Davido, who arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday had hinted he would be joining the procession to honour Mohbad who died on September 12 2023.
His death has become a subject of outrage and public inquiry with suspicion that he died from endless intimidations and harassment from some people.
Among those being fingered are the boss of the Marlian Records Azeez Fashola popularly called Naira Marley and one his associates Sam Larry.
Sam Larry in particular has been seen in videos which showed attacks carried out on the singer.
Trouble was believed to have started when Mohbad parted ways with Naira Marley and his record’s company.
Amidst candlelight participants on Thursday both Davido and Falz could be seen moving with the crowd as many hailed them for being supportive of the efforts to honour their late colleague.
